Metro Areas are where the world's Great Energy Transition is starting to happen
Metropolitan areas are where people use most of the world's energy – to power vehicles, buildings, infrastructure and industry. Metros are where most of the world's greenhouse gases come from! But, right there in your town or city, you can see sometimes surprising progress (or lack of progress) in the transition to clean energy.
Gasoline, diesel, propane, natural gas, and coal are cooking the oceans and atmosphere.
The hotter climate is causing enormous heat domes, water shortages, freakish storms, biblical flooding, and massive wildfires. Scientists correctly predicted the climate would be changing, but not that it would be happening this quickly. The so-called "climate alarmists were right: Now you can expect long-lasting extremely hot weather, water supply emergencies, continent-scale crop failures, widespread food shortages, depressed economies, mass starvation, and the collapse of modern society. All in the next 23 or so years.
All nine billion homo sapiens must urgently shift to using only clean electricity.
